Today, I joined the mini activity called "Personality Test". I've learned a useful and easy method to do the personality test. It called DIS. This test measures four categories of an individual's personality: dominance, infuluence, steadiness, and consientiousness.
The type of my Disc Personality is C/D.
Designer/Adminsitrator
Tends to act in a careful and convervative manner.
Strengths:Both a perfectionist and a driver; ambitious, prepared and organized.
Weaknesses: Can be difficult to get along with; rarely satisfied; can be nitpicky.
Altough I don't want to be a person who is difficult to get along with, but it is almost accurate to my personality. Personality test is a scientific method to analys someones personality. But in the DISC personality test, there are only 12 types of personality, while there are 6 billion persons in the world. Each of us has the different personality. So I think I just want to be what I am. Through the personality test , I can realise the weakness of myself and to change them ,then I'll be more and more nice.
So take it easy.
And, I've learned many new words today.
Influence, steady, dominace, conscientiousness, strength, behaviour...
And, I also have made some new friends. I've told my teacher that how to say the word"sexist:" in Chinese. Today's teacher is Clemon. A nice teacher, but I think Jesse is more handson, hahaha.....

Forbidden English
This is my first time to enjoy the activity. Today's topic is "Forbidden English".
Evan give me a green name card to represent that I'm new here.
I've preview the Warm-up questions about the topic according to the E-mail which John sended me yesterday. I search the "four-letter word" in Wikipadia to know what the meaning is.
Today, I've learned some offensive words and learned how to use these word on the right occation and the right time. Maybe I'll never use these words neither in English or in Chinese, but at least I can understand the meaning when others say these words.
In the past 2 hours, I just only say in English, try my best to let the Crew understand what I want to express, and try my best to understand what others say.
I also made some new friends today, Polly, Steven, Jesse, Jess...We were the same group to discuss the topic during the 2-hour English Time.

Today Is My Birthday
It's my birthday today. The 25th birthday.
I've celebrate it with my parents and cousins yesterday. We had lunch in Papa Johns. We ordered 5 pizzas , many BBQ chicken wings.
I went to Shanghai Museum this afternoon with Jessie. There too many people who want to visit the museum. When I came to the gate of the Shanghai Museum, I saw the long queue just like a dragon. We mostly visti two exhibiton halls which show the furnishings of Ming and Qing dynasty and potteries and chinas. Jessie is interested in the chinas made from the Ru Stove. She told me that there are only 76 Ru chinas in the world, and most of them are in Taiwan now.
After the supper, we went to the theatre to see the drama named "The Mousetrap". The author of the drama is the famouse female author Agatha Christie. I've read many novels of hers. I like the logical illation novels about murdering and detectifs.
I've received some birthday gift. I should say thank you to all of my friends. They are Jessie, Lorreta, Summer, Vee, David, Lao Yuan, Sandy...
I don't know my English Level untill now. Sandy told me that she will told me my level tomorrow afternoon. After that I'll try my best to make progress. I have the confidece.

Begin to Talk English
This is my first time to write blog in english. This is my first time to attend train course in Talk English. Yesterday, i attended the first step course which topic is AMS workshop.
Sharon who is our teacher of this course let us stand in a round and introduse ourselves to eachother. We should say that "Hello, my name is XXX, nice to meet you." three times and shake hands to eachother. It's funny that the girl who stand next to the person next to me has the same english name of mine. So when I introdused me to the other Ellen, we both laughed."Hi Ellen, I am Ellen, nice to meet you."
There were 19 person besides Sharon and me in this class. I try to remember their name as much as possible. Ellen Jiang, Ellie, Nina, Caroline, Yuki, Vash, Diana, Dickey, John, Andy, Logan, Jing, Grace, Jacey, Joanna, Rachel ...... I failed to remember them all. :(
Then Sharon let us to play a game named "Bumpty...Bump...Bump...Bump". The player choose anyone he liked, and stand before him. Then the there were four persons that player who calls "me", the selected person who calls "you", the peson on the right to the selected peson who calls "right"and the person on the left to the selected person who calls "left". The player would say one of these four words and "Bumpty...Bump...Bump...Bump". The selected person should name the peson befor the end of the sound"Bumpty...Bump...Bump...Bump". If the secleted person fails to name the person, he will changed the places with the player. Otherwise, the play will selecte another person to continue this game. I thank it was not difficult at the beginning. I tried my best to remember the name who stand beside me, and imaged the situation when I was selected. Unfortunatelly, I failed. But I changed the places with other person to play this game successefuuly soon. Heihei, the way to change other peson is that we must say the "Bumpty...Bump...Bump...Bump"right following we say "you"/"me"/"left" or "right". Speak quickly is the key to sucess.
The next game Sharon told us named "Nine Balls". She let us stand in round again, and gave us 9 balls. We should transport the ball one by one.Sharon selceted the first person to start the transportation. We can choose any one who is not neibour to us and is not selected by others. We must fininsh transport the 9 balls in 10 mins. We should keep the ball not dropped, otherwise we must start the transportaion from the first ball. At the begging we looked confusion. We all focused our attention on the ball which flying between us. So when we transported the third ball, we failed the game. And then, we failed the game again at the second ball, and failed again at the third ball. Then, Sharon asked us that what happened, and let us analyse the cause of the faliure and make the sollution to the problems. After that, we tried again. Although we failed again at the sixth ball, but we just spent two and a half mins to transport six balls. We have plenty of time to finish the begginning.
Sharon told us that there was no community between the game and english studing. But there was something similar. When we study, we should recognize ourselves trully, and make a smart goal, and plan how to realize it, and do it everyday.
I try to write in English first time. I'm sure that I've made too many mistakes. Don't laugh at me ,and please help me correct it. I'll stick on to write dairy in English. :)
